PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusee provided with a road surface damage protector with a heat insulator formed from a light, no-bulky and thin paper and having excellent heat insulating property and facilitated in handling when packing, transporting or setting. SOLUTION: This fusee 1 provided with a road surface damage protector is formed of a fusee main body 3, which is provided with an ignition part 2 in one end thereof and which has a flare generating part (not shown in the figure) connected to the ignition part 2 to emit the flare of high brightness inside thereof, and the heat insulator 4 fixed to the fusee main body 3 to receive the melted ash discharged from the flare generating part. Leg parts 9 having the predetermined height are provided in the bottom surface of the heat insulator 4. These leg part 9 are formed along both sides of the bottom surface of a heat insulator main body 8 by putting two crosspiece materials 9a on an aluminum foil 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
