PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which a lightweight mirror mounted on a moving body such as an artificial satellite resonates with a main vibration mode of the moving body as the mirror becomes large-sized to decrease in characteristic value because of a deficiency in rigidity to easily generate a large load and also becomes unable to withstand a vibration load when mounted on the moving body owing to a deficiency in strength. SOLUTION: The mirror comprises a mirror surface 1 formed by polishing a surface of a glass material and a curved surface of the same curvature or plane such that the reverse surface shape of a core 2 formed by forming a plurality of circular or polygonal holes on the reverse surface 3 of the same glass material with the mirror surface 1.
