PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration detector for surely detecting vibration that should be detected and rapidly detecting the decay of the vibration. SOLUTION: A pair of magnets 26, 27 is retained in an adjacent state by the attraction force when the magnets are adjacent each other. When the pair of magnets 26, 27 is relatively moved from the mutually adjacent state by vibration against the attraction force, a change in a magnetic field created by the pair of magnets 26, 27 is detected by a magnetism detecting means 28, and only vibration that should be detected is detected. Additionally, when one magnet 26 that performs a pendulum operation by vibration approaches the other magnet 27 periodically, one magnet 26 is instantly retained in a state being adjacent by the attraction force when vibration is small in a state without being against the attraction force.
