SHIFT RESISTOR HAVING LEVEL SHIFTER

PURPOSE: A shift resistor having a level shifter is provided to reduce the swing width of clock signals and start pulses and the power consumption by mounting the level shifter into the shift register. CONSTITUTION: A shift resistor having a level shifter includes a plurality of stages and a plurality of level shifters. The stage includes a buffer unit, a first controller and a second controller. The buffer unit(74) outputs shift pulses by using the first clock signal and the first supply voltage according to voltages of the first and the second nodes. The first controller(70) is used for controlling the voltage of the first node according to a start pulse and the voltage of the second node. The second controller(72) is used for controlling the voltage of the second node by using the first and the second supply voltages according to the start pulse and the second clock signal. The level shifter includes a third controller and an output unit. The third controller(78) is used for controlling the third node and forming a current path between a supply line of the third supply voltage and the first supply voltage line. The output unit(80) outputs the level-shifted pulse by using the first and the third supply voltage according to a voltage state of the third node.
