SUBSTANCE: proposed method for doubling total permissible current of thyristor converter built around six-phase rectifying circuit includes parallel connection of two thyristor converters using bridge circuit or equalizing-reactor circuit with common single-pulse control system and sequential application of one pulse across thyristors of each converter, pulses of like-polarity thyristor converters being shifter through 60 deg.
