<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient serial transmission by forming one-system bit serial data conforming to an HD-SDI and sending the bit serial data for transmission with respect to digital data that forms 720P signal of a 4:4:4 format. <P>SOLUTION: A video data part included for each line period of data DVX that forms 720P signal of a 10-bit/4:4:4 format is converted into two-system video data part data corresponding to data that forms an HD digital video signal of a 10-bit/4:2:2 format, first and second word sequence data formed in such a way that data for a new line period based on each of the video data part lie in a line are obtained, the word sequence data are subjected to multiplexing processing to form one-system multiplex word sequence data DP (10), and serial data DS based on the multiplex word sequence data are obtained and transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
