PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for appropriately performing self-adjustment of image quality corresponding to individual pieces of image data. SOLUTION: This output device is provided with: an image quality adjustment part capable of outputting an image by using image data generated by an image generator and image generation history information at least including operation information of the image generator at the time of generation of the image data and associated with the image data and adjusting the image quality of the image data by using a degree of brightness of an object to be obtained from object brightness information when the image generation history information includes the object brightness information regarding the brightness of the object at the time of generation of the image data; and an image output part which outputs the image according to the image data the image quality of which is adjusted.
