PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably establish connection with a radio base station after exchange, even if the base station of a connecting destination is exchanged. SOLUTION: A POS terminal 1 presets an IP address of a radio base station 2 designated as a connection destination to be stored. When power is turned on, the IP address of the connecting destination radio base station 2IP is designated, and an ARP command is transmitted by radio with a broadcast address. From a response with respect to the ARP command, an MAC command of the connecting destination radio base station 2 is acquired. Then, the MAC address is designated, and the connection with the radio base station 2 of the concerned MAC address by radio is attained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
