PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave receiver which efficiently receives a telemeter radio wave radiated by a flying object or a radio wave radiated from a transmitting source that moves in air, on the sea, on the ground, etc., automatically adjusts an optimum receiving state for an intensity change in a radio wave such as a telemeter wave and obtains a receiving environment that corresponds to the state. SOLUTION: This radio wave receiver has an inter-antenna distance adjustment mechanism for adjusting an interval between a pair of antennas installed on a turntable with a predetermined interval away so as to catch a radio wave such as a telemeter radio wave radiated by the flying object, and a device for turning the turntable. The pair of antennas is adjusted for arrangement so as to be able to effectively receive a radio wave to form a suitable receiving environment, automatically obtaining an optimum receiving form by making the radio wave caught by the antennas to be a received AGC signal in the receiver and controlling the inter-antenna distance adjustment mechanism, etc., through a controller on the basis of the received AGC signal.
