PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a communication environment by reducing a process required for switching and connecting a mobile station even when the mobile station is switched and connected to the next centralized control station in accordance with the movement of the mobile station while the mobile station is moved in a communicating state. SOLUTION: This mobile radio communication system has centralized control stations 2a and 2b, and a plurality of radio base stations 5a-5a and 5b-5b connected to the stations 2a and 2b. In this communication system, a method of synchronizing the base stations is adopted by which a voice or data transmitting and receiving timing is synchronized between one 2a or 2b of the centralized control stations 2a and 2b adjoining a plurality of base stations 1a and 1b and the other control station 2a or 2b.
