PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform work for mounting and removing a support column and a lateral rod easily to connect the support column and the lateral rod firmly and mutually. SOLUTION: This joint device 4 is provided with a first joint member 7 provided along the longitudinal direction of the support column 2, fitted slidably into a locking channel 5 provided with locking pieces 6 protruding mutually so as to narrow opening width on both sides of an opening facing the outside, and having an engaging protruding part 13 inclined for the longitudinal direction of the support column 2 in one end part and a second joint member 9 fixed to an end part of the lateral rod 3, inclined in the same direction as the engaging protruding part 13, and having an inclined face 18 engageable with the engaging protruding part 13. The other end parts of the first joint member 7 and the second joint member 9 are mutually tightened by a bolt 10 facing the same direction as the direction of inclination of the inclined face 18.
