PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable monomer capable of synthesizing a polymer containing a phthalocyanine in high density while suppressing a gelation during the polymerization for the polymer. SOLUTION: The polymerizable compound has a structure represented by the general formula_ä wherein, J is one of structural formulae(1) to (3): CH<SB>2</SB>=C(R<SB>1</SB>)CO<SB>2</SB>(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n2</SB>NHSO<SB>2</SB>(1), CH<SB>2</SB>=C(R<SB>1</SB>)CH<SB>2</SB>NHSO<SB>2</SB>(2) and CH<SB>2</SB>=C(R<SB>1</SB>)CO<SB>2</SB>LSi(R<SB>2</SB>)(R<SB>3</SB>)O(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n2</SB>NHSO<SB>2</SB>(3); [Met Pc] is a phthalocyanine residue with a central atom Met, wherein Met is Cu, Zn, Fe, Co, Ni or two hydrogen atoms; M is H, an alkali metal atom or NH<SB>4</SB>; n is an integer of 1-3; in the structural formulae(1) to (3), R<SB>1</SB>is H or a 1-3C alkyl, R<SB>2</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>are each H, methyl or phenyl, L is a 2-4C straight-chain alkylene group, and n2 is an integer of 1-3 }.
