PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which a work straightening die is corrected inexpensively in a short time. SOLUTION: Each of a second die 26 and a second punch 68 can be moved in a plane wherein a first die 42 and a first punch 64 cross each other in an approaching direction. On the way that the second die 26 and the second punch 68 approach each other, either one of the second die 26 and the second punch 68 which abuts first on a work whose one end side is restrained by the first die 42 and the first punch 64 moves in the plane and is positioned by using the work as a reference. Next, the other one of the second die 26 and the second punch 68 moves in the plane and is positioned by using one of the second die 26 and the second punch 68 positioned already as a reference, and under the condition that the other end side of the work is restrained by the second die 26 and the second punch 68, the whole of the second die 26 and the second punch 68 whose mutual positional relation is determined moves in the plane and is positioned by using either one of the first die 42 and the first punch 64 as a reference.
