FIRE ALARM SYSTEM USING POWER LINE COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE: A fire alarm system using power line communication is provided to detect a fire and give an alarm to a user by using only a power line without using an additional device. CONSTITUTION: A fire alarm system using power line communication includes a fire sensor and a power line communication telephone. The fire sensor(10) is connected to a power line through a first outlet. The fire sensor is used for detecting the impedance of the power line and generating a fire detection signal through the power line. The power line communication telephone(30) is connected to the power line through a third outlet. The power line communication telephone is connected to a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) through a PSTN connector. The power line communication telephone is used for detecting the fire detection signal and reporting it.
