PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique or the like for efficiently eliminating water produced at an oxidant electrode.

SOLUTION: A fuel cell body 100 has a solid electrolyte film 114 and a fuel electrode 102 and an oxidant electrode 108 disposed on the film 114. The body 100 further includes a drainage member 664 to drain water produced at the oxidant electrode outside the body 100. The drainage member 664 is composed of a water-absorptive sheet, absorbs the water produced at the oxidant electrode 108 and derives the absorbed water outside the body 100.
