<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress burst transfer to fairly provide a service in the Internet access service using a radio LAN. <P>SOLUTION: An access router for connecting a radio LAN base station and the Internet comprises an IP packet identifier for identifying an IP packet being in burst communication to suppress the transfer of the IP packet on the basis of a protocol of a transport layer applied to the received IP packet and a transmission rate thereof, and a data transmission rate measurer for calculating the transmission rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
