<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package of a retort food which shows a small deterioration in quality of the food even if it is stored at an ambient temperature for a long term. <P>SOLUTION: The package is obtained by housing the food in a tray made of a resin sheet composed of PP(polypropylene)/EvOH(ethylene-vinylalcohol copolymer)/ PP(polypropylene), sealing it with a retort resistant film and tightly sealing it with a material having a high gas barrier property after a retort treatment. When it is tightly sealed with the material having a high gas barrier property, an oxygen scavenger is put in at the same time or the food is degassed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
