<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of dissolving or phase-separating the thermally infusible cellulose or cellulosic materials utilizing the properties derived from the structural characteristics of cellulose or cellulosic materials using fundamentally supercritical carbon dioxide, and also to provide molded articles of cellulose or cellulosic materials and/or composites of them with other materials. <P>SOLUTION: The method of dissolving cellulose or cellulosic materials in a solvent whose main component is high temperature carbon dioxide(desirably, containing also a Tg-decreasing medium) of supercritical state and then to make phase-separation, and the phase-separated materials obtainable by the method of the dissolution or the phase-separation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
