<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cancer cell by using an oncogene, to provide a method for detecting cancer by using the oncogene, to provide a method for screening a compound having effects of treating and/or preventing the cancer, and to provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating and/or preventing the cancer. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the cancer cell by excessively expressing MGC2742 genes in cells and selecting a cell strain in which proliferation potency of the cell is changed, the method for detecting the cancer by using expression of the MGC2742 as an indicator, the method for screening the new compound having the effects of treating and/or preventing the cancer by using the MGC2742, the pharmaceutical composition for treating and/or preventing the cancer, and a method for treating the cancer by using the pharmaceutical composition are provided, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
