PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus, a communication method, and a program for making wireless communication by switching a plurality of communication modules without the need for complicated operations. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus 2 is provided with: a plurality of slots 24-1 to 24-n to which wireless communication modules 241-1 to 241-n respectively corresponding to a plurality of wireless communication systems are connected; and a CPU 26 that specifies the wireless communication module 241 with the highest priority among the wireless communication modules 241-1 to 241-n connected to a plurality of the slots 24-1 to 24-n in the orders of priorities on the basis of the predetermined priority of a plurality of the slots 24-1 to 24-n and communicatable via a relaying apparatus 3 with the communication apparatus 2 and makes communication via the relaying apparatus 3 by using the wireless communication module 241 connected to the specified slot 24.
