PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polystyrene resin foam sheet which does not cause reduction of the strength of a molded article to be brought about by lightening the molded article, particularly the lip strength of the molded article molded in the form of a tray container or the like, and a polystyrene resin laminated foam sheet. SOLUTION: The polystyrene resin foam sheet has a thickness of 1.5-2.5 mm and an amount of the residual blowing agent of≥3.5 wt.%, and a density of the part of up to 100μm in the thickness direction from the surfaces of both sides of the polystyrene resin foam sheet of 0.25 g/cm<SP>3</SP>. Furthermore, the polystyrene resin laminated foam sheet is obtained by laminating a nonfoamed polystyrene film having a thickness of 10-80μm on both sides or one side of the polystyrene resin foam sheet.
