PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message transmission-and-reception device that makes it easy to transfer a message, which one of a plurality of message transmission-and-reception devices connected to a network receives, to another message transmission-and-reception device, also provide a message transmission-and-reception method and a message transmission-and-reception program for a computer. SOLUTION: When the message transmission-and-reception device 10 receives a request from a user 40 for the transfer of a message, it generates a message transfer destination candidate based on a transfer destination candidate generation rule stored in an internal storage part 14, supplies a user 40 with a user interface, which is accompanied by the message transfer destination candidate, for designating the transfer destination, and further presents a message accompanied by transfer recommendation and a message accompanied by information on the candidate of the transfer destination according to a transfer recommendation rule for determining whether the transfer of a reception message stored in the storage part 14 is recommended.
