PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine in which a commodity pedestal is concealed at a show case mode and the commodity pedestal is exposed at an automatic vending machine mode. SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine is provided with commodity storage racks on which commodities are placed and the commodity pedestal 12 storing the commodity discharged from the commodity storage rack at a reception position and transferring the commodity to a take-out position. The machine is also provided with a cover member 17 which is interlocked with movement of the commodity pedestal 12 and which moves to a position where the commodity pedestal 12 is concealed when the commodity pedestal moves to the take-out position.
