PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential gear that is arranged on the torque transmission route of a vehicle and can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: A differential gear 100 is equipped with a differential career 1 with the internal space 1a; one pair of side gears 135, 159 that are rotatably supported by the differential carrier 1 contacting to the bearings 19, 20, and interposing those bearings 19, 20, and are connected to one pair of axles 29, 30 being positioned in the internal space 1a of the differential career 1; and a differential case 18 that is supported by the side gears 135, 159. The differential case 18 rotatably supports a pinion gear 126 that is geared with one pair of side gears 135 and 159. Each of one pair of side gears 135 and 159 is unified with the component part of one pair of uniform couplings 31 and 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
