摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust control valve in which a noise reduction request required in low speed revolution of an engine and a back pressure reduction request required in high speed revolution of the engine are accomplished at the same time. SOLUTION: The exhaust control valve comprises: a valve element 2 disposed to be capable of opening/closing, through a spindle 3, to a valve seat 1 disposed at an end part of an exhaust pipe P in a muffler body; and a coil spring 4 for making the valve element 2 be in contact with a seat face 12 of the valve seat 1 to urge the valve element in a direction of closing the control valve. A cylinder part 13 is extended from the downstream of the seat face 12 in the valve seat 1 part, so that the cylinder part has an inside diameterϕd2 larger than an inside diameterϕd1 of the seat face 12 partitioning to form an exhaust pressure receiving face in an initial valve opening of the valve element 3. A flange part 23 is extended from a valve element 2 side positioned in the cylinder part 13 to close an upper end opening part of the cylinder part 13, from a state where the valve element 2 is in contact with the seat face to close the control valve up to a predetermined valve openingθ1 position.
