PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snowboard easily manufactured of a necessary minimum number of components at low cost and changing the direction of binding in a single operation without detaching a dedicated boot in the snowboard. SOLUTION: This snowboard 1 is so formed that, when finishing a descent, a front-side binding 4 is fixed by clamping a first erected part 11a along with a lock means 12 so that, when the right foot is detached from a rear-side binding 3, the lock means 12 is detached from the first erected part 11a and the front-side binding 4 is turned with the left foot fixed thereto, it abuts on a second erected part 11b and stops. The front-side binding 4 is fixed with its facing frontward by clamping second erected part 11b between another unshown lock means 18 and the front-side binding 4. This constitution extremely facilitates a player to walk with the right foot kicking the snow surface and the snowboard 1 sliding thereon. When riding on a lift, if the player turns the left foot straight, the snowboard 1 also turns straight to eliminate the occurrence of a trouble and prevent any possibility of spraining the ankle.
