IN-MOLD LABEL HAVING REMOVABLE PART

An in-mold label which comprises a thermoplastic resin base film layer and a heat-sealable resin layer, characterized in that the surface of the thermoplastic resin base film layer and/or the surface of the heat-sealable resin layer has an index of wetting of 34 to 73 mN/m, that the label is constituted of a label main part and a removable part and has perforations between the label main part and the removable part so that the removable part can be separated from the main part, and that when the label is adhered to a thermoplastic resin container in in-mold molding, the strength of adhesion between the removable part and the container is 80 to 270 gf/10 mm. This in-mold label has features that both sides thereof are printable, the removable part does not peel off the container during transportation or use, and the removable part, when desired to be removed, can be easily stripped off the container without being damaged.
