摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling for improving the operating reliability of an electromagnetic clutch by making a gap G between an armature 5 and a rotor 4 uniform throughout the periphery during deenergizing an exciting coil 2. <P>SOLUTION: A hub 10 consists of a boss 11 having a spline hole 11c formed through the inner periphery to be spline-fitted to a rotating shaft 6 and a plate 12 joined to the end face of a flange 11b of the boss 11 and having an abutment portion 12d formed on the inner periphery for abutting on the rotating shaft 6, thus achieving a highly accurate right angle between the spline hole 11c and the flange 11b of the boss 11 and between the spline hole 11c and the plate 12. As a result, the vibrating accuracy of the armature 5 to be mounted on the hub 10 via an elastic body 30 and an outer ring 20 is improved to make the gap G uniform throughout the periphery. A rust-proof coating is formed on the surfaces of the plate 12 and the outer ring 20 exposed from the elastic body 30 with high-temperature baking or plating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
