PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure data being edited by saving the data being edited in occurrence of a fault.

SOLUTION: An information management system is provided with a first storage means for storing each data of one or more records, an editing acceptance means for accepting input of editing data for each record with respect to data stored in the first storage means, a second non-volatile storage means for successively storing editing data accepted by the editing acceptance means, and a data updating means for settling editing data accepted by the editing acceptance means for each record and updating data stored in the first storage means on the basis of settled editing data.
