<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a program for restoring information from a prescribed expression system when information is represented not clearly but implicitly. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises (a) a step for preparing a bilingual corpus 20, (12) a step for selecting a pair of sentences including an English sentence nearest to an inpupt sentence 10, (c) a step for making a pair of selected English and Japanese sentences associate with each other (14) and specifying corresponding English and Japanese phrases in compriance with a number in the input sentence and (d) a step for determining a numeral to be used and allocating the numeral to a specified component in the input sentence 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
