<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the operating direction of each cable opposite after constituting this device compact in the power parking brake device. <P>SOLUTION: An exchanging mechanism B and an equalizer mechanism C are contained in a single housing 21, in which a reversal mechanism D is contained to reverse the extension direction of an inner wire 17a in a cable 17. The cable 17 is extended in a direction from one side of the housing 21 reversed by the reversal mechanism D, and the other cable 19 is extended in the other direction from the other side of the housing 21. The reversal mechanism D is provided with a fixed pulley 35, which is rotatably supported on the housing 21 through a bearing 37.
