PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authoring system capable of changing the structure. SOLUTION: In a studio 1, a file 60 created for each content 11 in a module 206 is formed into a directory structure by a module 208. In a module 212, a directory image 211 of a second session is composited with a CD-DA image 201 of a first session. In a plant 2, the data of the second session are encrypted by a module 213. The data of first and second sessions, an encryption key Kc and a key 217 are inputted into a module 214, and the data are further encrypted collectively with the key Kc of each content by the key 217 to create a disk image for both the data of the first and the second sessions. Since each function of the system works independently as module, for example, the content of the module 213 can be encrypted in the studio 1 after the module 213 is inserted between modules 206 and 208.
