PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor whereby the color of captured image data is not different from a color in the case of outputting the image data converted by using a profile and colors are not different when other output apparatuses output the same image, and capable of simply restoring edited image data. SOLUTION: The image processors 100, 200 are configured such that received image data G1 are converted into standard color image data G2 by using an input profile F1, the standard color image data are converted into write image data by using a recommended profile F2 and an edit means H1 applies image edit to the converted image data to obtain edited write image data G3, and the edited write image data are written into a recording medium C by a data write means 2. Edit condition information denoting contents of image edit applied to the write image data before the edit is written into the recording medium and recommenced profile information for inverse conversion to apply inverse conversion with respect to conversion from the standard color image data into the write image data by using the recommended profile is written in the recording medium.
