PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating knob and its manufacturing method for use in a vehicular operation panel etc. which can surely hold component parts, easily assemble, and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: In an illuminating knob 11, an elastic claw 11C which protrudes downward and of which the inner face is abutted to an outer face of a light guide body 13 is equipped at an underside of the knob 11, and a holding part 12A for abutting to an outer face of the claw 11C is equipped at a holder 12, and a recessed part 11B of the claw 11C is locked to a protrusion part 12B of the holding part 12A. Thereby, since the inner and outer faces of the claw 11C are held between the outer face of the guide body 13 and the holding part 12A, the knob 11 for surely holding the component parts may be obtained.
