PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a map capable of grasping the whole shape and a height of a building, capable of grasping the sense of distance, and capable of preventing a guide route from being concealed by the building. SOLUTION: In this map drawing method for a navigation system, a view point is positioned in an upper prescribed height of a vehicle, means 21, 22 are provided to generate radial three-dimensional images viewed overlookedly while changing sight lines respectively left-frontwards and right-frontwards, or left-frontwards, right-frontwards, left-rearwards, and right-rearwards, from the view point, and the radial three-dimensional images are generated to be displayed when approaching an intersection, or when required.
