PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain an image quality by appropriately supporting a paper with the use of a platen which expands/contracts in accordance with the expansion/contraction of a right and a left casing parts, and correctly adhering ink discharged from an ink head to the paper. SOLUTION: A rib shaft 21 as a supporting member is constituted of a rib shaft A21a, a rib shaft B21b and the like which are hollow cylinders with dovetails formed in an arrow direction Y being coupled slidably with each other. Respective one ends of the rib shaft A21a and B21b are supported by side faces in the arrow direction Y of the right and left casing parts 2 and 3. Moreover, a plurality of ribs 22 each formed in a hollow ring are outfitted slidably to the rib shaft 21. A plurality of bellows 23 as an elastic member formed in a hollow cylinder are outfitted slidably to each rib shaft 21 between the ribs 22 to generate an equal elastic force in the arrow direction Y of an expansion/contraction direction.
