PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine fuel cooling system for preventing supercooling when fuel is a low temperature. SOLUTION: This engine fuel cooling system has a fuel tank 1 for storing the fuel, an engine 4 driven by supplying the fuel from this fuel tank 1 via a supply pipe 2 and a fuel filter 3, a pipe 5 for returning surplus fuel from this engine 4 to the fuel tank 1, a fuel cooler 6 arranged in this return pipe 5 and cooling the surplus fuel, a bypass pipe 7 having one side connected to an engine 4 side part from the fuel cooler 6 of the return pipe 5 and having the other side connected to a fuel tank 1 side part from the fuel cooler 6 of the return pipe 5, and a thermostat 8 arranged in a branching-off position of the return pipe 5 and the bypass pipe 7 and switching supplying of the surplus fuel to the fuel cooler 6 side or supplying of the surplus fuel to the bypass pipe 7 side according to a fuel temperature.
