PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion-joint cover in which a cover member is not inclined. SOLUTION: The cover member 3 covering an expansion joint 1 is held by a holding member 4. The holding member 4 is installed to a hinge 5, and the hinge 5 is mounted on a structure 2a through a supporting frame 17. The holding member 4 is cantilever-supported to one structure 2a. The holding member 4 is pushed against a structure 2b by a coil spring 6. When either structure 2a or 2b is displaced in the (x) direction or the (y) direction, the cover member 3 and the holding member 4 are slid and follow to the displacement to the structure 2b. When either structure 2a or 2b is displaced in the (z) direction, the cover member 3 and the holding member 4 are rotated and follow to the displacement. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
