PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device for a footstep implement for a manhole and the like, which makes the footstep implement surely mounted on a wall of the manhole and the like, not only by surely/easily fitting a leg part of the footstep implement to a cap to be embedded in the wall of the manhole and the like but also by increasing mounting strength. SOLUTION: In this mounting device for the footstep implement for the manhole and the like, a protrusive streak 15 for preventing the cap 14 from slipping off is formed on the outer periphery of the cap 14; a plurality of locking grooves 16 are formed on the inner periphery of the cap 14; an expanded cylindrical part 17 is formed in the opening part of the cap 14; many belt-like groups 11 of protrusions, which are arranged in the leg part 4 in the axial direction of the leg part 4, are radially split into a plurality of pieces; air vent passages 12 are formed among the respective split groups 11; some of the respective groups 11 are locked to the locking groove 16 of the cap 14; and a flange 13, which is formed on the side of the side part of the leg part 4, is superposed into the cylindrical part 17 of the cap 14.
