PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the state of yarn shaking during the cooling process of a spun yarn, and performing an appropriate adjustment of cooling wind rapidly and precisely. SOLUTION: This method for analyzing the yarn shaking is provided by irradiating a thin film state laser light (L) by an irradiating means (1) against the yarn (Y) consisting of a group of mono-filaments melt spun from a spinneret (11) so as to cross the yarn (Y), shooting reflected light obtained by the reflection of the irradiated laser light (L) with each of the mono-filaments by a shooting means (2) over a prescribed time as continuous image groups, extracting light spot groups for each of the mono-filaments by image-processing with an image-processing device (3) for each of the continuous image groups and analyzing the state of the yarn swinging based on the extracted light spot groups, and the device for the same is also provided.
