LWC PAPER AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME

A coated printing paper product, the manufacture of which is effected by using, after a coating process, a surface conditioning device, comprising a fixed support element, a flexible jacket fitted around the fixed support element, such that a board web travels between the jacket and a counter-roll. In connection with the support element is fitted a load element, such that the flexible jacket is pressed by the load element against the heatable counter-roll. The coated product has surface properties on the top side of the paper as follows: PPS-s10 roughness (ISO 8791-4) 0,7-1,5 µm Hunter gloss (ISO/DIS8254) 30-80%, and the product having a bulk within the range of 1,15-1,3 cm<3>/g.
