FOOD ADDITIVE CONTAINING COCOA BEAN AND COCOA BEAN SHELL FRACTION FOR PREVENTION AND INHIBITION OF CANCER

PURPOSE: Provided are a cocoa bean and cocoa bean shell fraction which are taken safely as food additive without purification to inhibit cancer. The process to make highly effective anti-cancer formulation is of low cost compared with other conventional anti-cancer agent because a simple separation process is needed. CONSTITUTION: The method of preparation comprises: refluxing and extracting cocoa beans and cocoa bean shells with solvent selected from a group of 50% aqueous acetone, 50% aqueous ethanol and 50% aqueous methanol; letting it absorbed into porous styrene resin; fractionating with 40% aqueous ethanol; and solvent fractionating with 60% aqueous ethanol.
