<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bivalve frozen food product comprising a set of unshelled shellfish and seasonings suitable for specific cooking. <P>SOLUTION: The bivalve frozen food product is obtained by adding either edible oil and fat (e.g. butter) or alcohol (e.g. refined Sake), or both of them to sand-removed and washed bivalves, charging the mixture in an airtight container, heating the container followed by cooling and freezing the resultant container. The frozen food product is thawed and put on a fry pan to cook, or is thawed with boiled water or a microwave oven to warm it so as to readily obtain cooked bivalves such as baked bivalves with butter, steamed bivalves with Sake (Japanese rice wine), baked bivalves with butter looking like ones steamed with Sake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
