PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and positively update a database to appropriate contents at appropriate timing.

SOLUTION: A word database for speech recognition formed in an HD device 20 can carry out an appropriate process by speech information by sending an update request to a server device through a communication I/F 21 when there is no word data matching the speech information inputted through a microphone 12 and a speech recognition processing part 13, acquiring the update data for updating the word database from the outside, updating the word database, and preventing a state of not being able to find the word data matching the inputted speech information.
