<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify setting procedures for a change (in shape) or movement of a guard zone range which is displayed being superposed on a radar image in the screen of a radar video display unit. <P>SOLUTION: The guard zone range 15 is changed (in shape) by changing the shape of a cursor 70 and settling it, adjusting the cursor to an initiation azimuth line 11, an initiation distance line 12, a termination azimuth line 13, or a termination distance line 14.
