<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader/writer requiring no terminal equipment in an electronic money system using an IC card or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The reader/writer includes: a reading means for reading data recorded on the IC card; a transmission means for transmitting through a communication channel the read data to a server applying batch management to the IC card; a reception means for receiving through the communication channel the specified data sent from the server and processed based on the transmitted data related to the IC card; and a writing means for writing the received specified data on the IC card. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
