<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load on a power circuit without giving any feeling of physical disorder of lightness depending upon the area of a white display part. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a plurality of self-lighting elements 10 which constitute a display screen DS and driving circuits YD and XD which supply a driving current corresponding to a video signal to the plurality of self-lighting elements 10.
