<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro fluid device for preventing a sample from being vainly filled thereinto and an analysis method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A separate flow path Cs and a sample import amount regulating flow path Cd branching from the flow path Cs are formed within a substrate 10. The flow path Cs has an opening on one end side thereof, that is, on the lower surface side of the substrate 10, to which a tube member 12 is joined communicating with the opening, and an end of the tube member 12 serves as a sample import part Inj. The other end of the flow path Cs and an end of the flow path Cd have openings on the upper surface side of the substrate 10, and the openings are provided with valves Vs and Vi, respectively. After a migration buffer has been infused into the flow path Cs, the valve Vs is closed, the import part Inj is immersed in the sample 20, and the valve Vi is opened. Then, the migration buffer in the low path Cs is infused into the flow path Cd by its volume change, causing the sample 20 to be infused from the import part Inj into the flow path Cs by an amount corresponding to the volume change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
