<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for extracting a physiologically active component of Fuscoporia obliqua, a physiologically active component composition, a functional food and a method for enhancing antioxidant activity. <P>SOLUTION: This method for extracting the physiologically active component of Fuscoporia obliqua is characterized by performing an enzyme-treatment of the F. obliqua by adding at least 1 kind of an enzyme selected from an amylase, a glucanase and a mannase and then performing an extracting operation. The physiologically active component composition is prepared by performing the enzyme-treatment of the F. obliqua by adding at least one kind of the enzyme selected from the amylase, glucanase and mannase and then performing the extracting operation. The functional food is characterized by processing the physiologically active component composition.
