FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in manufacture of printed circuit boards for quick determination of concentration of ions of copper and iron (III) or at centers taking in silver-carrying waste for quick establishment of silver in used fixing solutions. In compliance with procedure working electrode-plate of quartz resonator contacting solution is polarized with specified potential corresponding to maximum rated current of reduction of metal forming solid phase on surface of working electrode. Mass of metal deposited on working electrode is utilized to establish its concentration in solution and rate of decrease of mass of this deposit is employed to find concentration of metal taking part in redox process without formation of solid phase when circuit between working and auxiliary electrodes is broken.
